‚District of fading lights” by Zincboy is a story
which gives us an account of a sequence of events that might happen during the night.
Due to author’s complex moral issues, the album contains several genres of music, such as trip hop, ambient, downtempo, psychodella.
The album was supposed to portray the way the artist perceives the reality.
By the illustration of this, the structure is vibrant, but also melancholic.
Still, ‚district’ is elaborated with details, yet it doesn’t make it inconsistent.
The composer was inspired by numberous albums from previous decades,
including 1998 „Psyence Fiction” performed by Unkle.
